It’s Time To Bring Out The Real You

I Love, Love, Love to Laugh.    Watch this quick clip below.  It's hilarious.

LMTO! Who thinks of this stuff?  Obviously, this guy has a lot of time on his hands.  Can you imagine working at a Drive Thru and this happens???  And the expressions of the workers… Priceless! Personally, I don’t think I would have walked up to the window to get a closer look, but that’s just me.  Anyway, this takes time, effort and creativity to come up with something like this.

That's what I want to talk to you about today.

We all have the ability to be creative in every aspect of our lives.  Yet, why do we fall victim to not having or being who we want to be… who we are called to be?  We often get in our own way.  We let past circumstances, relationships, childhoods, etc. hold us back.  We let negative thinking hold us back.  And why?  Are we afraid of how great we could be?

Marianne Williamson defines this best and it is one of my favorite quotes…

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Love that quote!  We all have something to offer this world, don’t you think?  Come on… you know you do.  And if you don’t think this then let me just say that when you don’t offer yourself, you are actually robbing not only yourself but the world of your gifts when you don’t fulfill your purpose — whatever that may be.

No one can step in and be you because there is only one you.  So don’t try to compete with others.  I know some of you do this secretly — which, come on, doesn’t really make it a competition.

It only makes you a coward and deprives the world of getting to know the real you!

We are all connected and everyone has a place.  We are all apart of a bigger picture… We are like a puzzle…  The puzzle can not be completed without all of the pieces WHICH INCLUDES YOU.

So today, work on showing the real “YOU”.  Do what you need to do to let you and only you shine through.  After all, don’t you deserve it :)

Until next time,
